The beehive format, is a recently added exciting class format that we now offer at limited locations.
the beehive and the honeycomb format follow the same programs and learning objectives. the overall curriculum is generally the same also. the main difference is that the beehive format is geared more towards students who enjoy learning with many friends in a group class, while the honeycomb format is for students who prefer a small group learning environment.
The beehive format uses exercises that are a mix between pair based drills, instructor feeding drills and foot work exercises catered towards a class size of 7-10 students. We are currently only offering this class at the 14th st. Y.
