Fort Greene Park (Bklyn)
Our newest tennis court location this year is Fort Greene Park. This outdoor court is conveniently located near downtown Brooklyn.
Due to recent permit and concession changes with the Parks & Recreation department, BumbleBee Tennis will unfortunately not be offering programs at McCarren Park tennis court this season. We will dearly miss the Williamsburg neighborhood and hope the Fort Greene Park tennis community will welcome us with as much joy and excitement as did the McCarren Park tennis community.
We will offer both youth and adult classes at the Fort Greene Park tennis court on weekdays & weekends and will be offering morning youth tennis clinics this upcoming summer as well.
Youth Tennis Clinics – Summer
Our week-long Youth Tennis Clinics are an exciting way for your child to enjoy the summer, play tennis, and have lots of fun.
We look forward to offering our tennis clinics Monday through Friday during the summer at the following locations:

Other BumbleBee Tennis Court Updates
Soho: Great news!!! Renovations will be completed soon at the Old St. Patrick’s Youth Center. The facility, when completed, will have a new heating system, new bathrooms, and updated interior. BumbleBee Tennis is looking forward to returning to one of our original locations and we’re very happy to support the facility’s longevity.
Preparing To Play
Getting back into the game of tennis after a long Winter rest may be a difficult challenge at first. But after incorporating some light daily tennis stretching exercises and reestablishing the muscle memory of your swings, you should be back playing on the court as usual.
We encourage players to focus on flexibility in the beginning of your training, then gradually move on to speed and agility exercises to increase endurance. Don’t forget proper sleep and hydration between workouts to give your body the rest it needs to get back on the court the next time.
